A repair warranty’s time and mileage limits can end at different points. Compare the actual expiry rule and covered work before treating two warranties as equal.

Christian Brothers publishes a three-year or 36,000-mile limited warranty that expires at the limit reached last. That is different from coverage ending as soon as either limit is reached. The difference matters to someone who drives much more or much less than average.

A warranty may cover a defective new part and its installation without covering unrelated faults or normal wear. A repair can also include several parts with different terms. The invoice should identify the work that carries coverage.
Christian Brothers says a customer within 25 miles of the original shop must return there for warranty service and present the original repair invoice. That is a concrete example of why “nationwide” is only the headline. Keep the claim procedure with the receipt.
If the car is being towed or repaired away from home, confirm the required approval before another shop starts work. A convenient repair and a reimbursable warranty repair are not automatically the same thing.
